Napa – In a ceremony yesterday, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) recognized Ian Anderson as Solano County’s 2024 Climate Crisis Champion.
“Mr. Anderson is a champion for maintaining agricultural land to preserve our local history and combat the effects of the climate crisis,” said Thompson. “Mr. Anderson has a 25-year membership with the Solano Land Trust, serving at times as the President and Chair of its Agricultural Conservation Committee. Mr. Anderson has shown creativity and commitment to involving his community in his work, both by organizing the beloved annual ‘Pumpkin Patch’ fall festival and creating art using found and reused materials.
