Napa – On Saturday, October 14, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) and California Speaker Pro Tempore Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry will hold the first Student Leadership Council event of the 2023-2024 school year. The Student Leadership Council provides an opportunity for participants to learn about government, key issues facing our community, meet with elected officials, civil servants, and community leaders throughout the year. At the end of the year the class will complete a capstone project.
Members of the press are invited to attend the event. Nearly forty student leaders will come together from Lake, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo Counties. Details are below:
